This Privacy Policy describes the personally identifiable information that Foreign Intrigue ("we") collects through our website located at www.foreignintrigue.com (the "Site") and how we use that information. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies solely to our online information gathering and dissemination practices in connection with the Site, and does not apply to any of our practices conducted offline. We will not collect, share or sell any information other than as explained in this statement. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any non-ForeignIntrigue.com web site to which this Site links or that links to this Site. Information Use and Disclosure

During registration, users are asked to give their contact information (such as name and email address). We may use this information to contact you regarding your order. A user's billing and shipping information is not requested during registration. Users may update their billing information through their account profile and billing information will automatically be saved to the profile upon checkout. Shipping information can be entered by registered users using their Address Book (within Your Account) or can be saved to their address book during checkout. Users may update their contact and other personal information through the Your Account feature. Unless you ask us not to do so (by un-checking the designated box during registration, or opting out later as explained below), we may use the information collected to send you, from time to time, additional promotional materials.

We also request information on the order form when you are placing an order on our Site. Here we ask for contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (credit card number, CVV2 values and expiration date). The information is used for billing purposes and to fill customers' orders. If we have trouble processing your order, this contact information is used to get in touch with you.

We maintain business partnerships with other persons or companies whom we have deemed to be trustworthy and responsible and whose privacy policies are aligned with ours. In some instances we may share and cross-reference information, including personal information about you and/or your order, that will allow such persons or companies to contact you regarding products and/or services that may be of interest to you.

We do not send our own marketing information to an individual customer who has not explicitly elected to receive marketing contact. We do not share our marketing contact elected customer's information to carefully selected third party marketing partners for third-party direct marketing purposes.

Security

This Site incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") for all financial transactions through this Site. We use SSL encryption to protect your personal information online, and we also take several steps to protect your personal information in our facilities. Access to your personal information is restricted. Only employees who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to your personal information. Finally, we rely on third-party service providers for the physical security of some of our computer hardware. We believe that their security procedures are adequate. For example, when you visit our Site, you access servers that are kept in a secure physical environment, behind a locked cage and an electronic firewall.

Opt Out/Corrections

Upon your request, we will (a) correct or update your personal information; (b) stop sending emails to your email address; and/or (c) disable your account to prevent any future purchases through that account. You can make these requests by telephoning, or emailing your request to Foreign Intrigue's Customer Support department at 1-800-800-8070 or mikeandlisa@foreignintrigue.com. Once we have received and processed an unsubscribe/opt-out request from an individual customer all marketing contact from Foreign Intrigue and all marketing partners will cease. You may submit this type of opt-out request by e-mail mikeandlisa@foreignintrigue.com with the word "Remove" in the subject line. Please do not email your credit-card number or other sensitive information. the subject line and allow up to two weeks for your request to be processed.

Offline Collection, Use and Disclosure of Information

As you might expect from ForeignIntrigue.com, the majority of information that we collect is obtained through our Site, and this Privacy Policy applies only to that online collection of personal information. We also collect information offline, where we also try to protect the privacy of you personal information. One example involves someone calling us to place an order or to ask questions. When someone calls, we will ask only for the personal information we need in order to place the order or to answer the question. When we need to store information (such as order information), we will enter it into our database through SSL encryption. (See the Data Security section above for more information). Another example involves faxes. If you fax something to us, we will act upon the fax and then either store it a locked repository or we will shred the fax if there is no need to retain the information. There are other ways we could learn of personal information offline (for example, we suppose someone could send us a letter including some return address information), and this Policy doesn't discuss or try to predict all of those methods or uses. As we mentioned, we primarily sell merchandise, not information, and we will try to treat offline collection, uses, and disclosures consistently with our relevant online practices.
